A great hostel breakfast in what is definitely not an ordinary hostel. I sat by the window in the dining room and through the open window could see the mountains, traditional wooden houses and a nearby stream. This is really a beautiful place. Promised myself a day off the sauce as my hands were shaking pouring the coffee.
After breakfast played pingpong with Nadine. Best of three games - loser to wear pajamas at mini-golf. I won, thank goodness since I sleep in my underwear.
The mini-golf wasn't open by 11 so had a beer at a nearby terrace while waiting for it to open. Oops, already broke my dry-day promise to myself.
Mini golf was fun, but Nadine beat Carol and I. Perhaps playing in pajamas gave her some advantage. Ha!
I love this place. It's definitely not cheap, but everyone is so friendly and chatty and the views all around are spectacular. I'd like to come back again for sure.
We spent the afternoon at the public pool swimming and reading and resting up for the drive back. It seems Swiss girls like to get tattoos. Irish girls too. But here they are very classy and quite large, often taking up whole shoulders or upper backs.
No problems on the drive home and stopped at a roadside restaurant for dinner. I chose the cheaper, but not cheap option of tomato and basil soup. It was nice. Tired to use the bathroom, but it's such a hassle in Switzerland. You usually have to pay and then get a refund from the shop/restaurant where you spend money. Even the Swiss girls find this annoying.

The golfers.
Nadine playing in pajamas because she's a pingpong loser. But a minigolf winner.
