OLD FARMER

Despite the occasional insults 'pretty boy' and 'metrosexual' (because of my pink shirt), I really am just an old farmer at heart.
I realised this yesterday in preparation for my students graduation. Digging out my one and only suit I got to wondering when the last time I wore it was. This dusty but faithful Burton's suit bought for my Japan job interview two years ago. When was it? Last years graduation? Halloween? I don't know. I really am a farmer at heart. One suit, plain black, for funerals and weddings (and graduations).

Well well Mark you old farmer, I have just been linked to your blog by Spud and thought I'd say hello (this is Ben McCarthy btw). I notice you've continued your boarding, good man... can you 180 yet? :) Where are you living then, I've been to Japan a couple of times in the past year and I love it, I recognise a few of the places (I went to Matsushima in January, but didn't do any wakeboarding unfortunately)...I went skiing last year in Hakuba and the other hills around Nagano, are they anywhere near you? Look forward to hearing from you...

Ben has just linked me to this site. It took me a while to recognise you from the pictures - great beard! You've done some serious travelling. Good on you. Your blog has had me engrossed for the past couple of hours, facsinating stuff. Your pictures are works of art. Looking forward to reading the next blog. Rachael x
