I've started on a trip in Europe. I bought just a one-way ticket to Basel, Switzerland to meet up with an old friend for some hiking in the Alps. I have other ideas about places I want to go and things I want to see. But really, I'm totally flexible and uncommitted to anything. There's no point in having this time off and freedom if I'm going to tie myself down with return dates and itineraries, right? So let's see where I end up and what I end up doing. I may be back in Northern Ireland in a week, or maybe a month. Who knows? But what I will do is keep a daily journal and post it on here with some photos whenever I get a chance. Watch this space (please).
